Oriental chest

This is a piece of furniture that was given to me over 20 years ago. Don't know what it is. I've noticed that it has been put together without nails. It's solid wood (very heavy) The top opens upwards and I have used it to store linens and blankets. My understanding that it is from Korea, but not exactly sure of that. Please help...
