Description

My ex husband picked this up off the street in NYC in 1985.  When we got the ugly slipcover off it we found a sagging chair with beautiful woodwork you see here.  We had it recovered and restuffed - discovered that there was some original horsehair stuffing inside.  Today, it sits low to the ground, and the cats have done a number on the side.  I think the springs are steel and are likely shot.  But the wood is beautiful and the frame is sturdy and intact.

What is is - and what is it worth?
