Description
This is the actual concept drawing Earl R. Dean sketched and submitted to the Root Glass Company's owner, Chapman J. Root. Mr. Root approved the design and Dean immediately went to work to get a mold made. Soon after, he would produce the first contour Coca-Cola Bottle. Little did he know, at the time, that this bottle would not only become an icon...but the most recognizable package on the planet.
