Description
This painting by Oyvind Heggtveit is 38 inches wide and 27 inches high and came to America from Norway with my maternal grandmother in 1920. There is no title written on it. I recall seeing it hanging in her various Chicago apartments all during my childhood in the 1950's and 60's but don't know the circumstances under which she acquired it. I do remember her commenting that she had met the subject of the picture during her voyage on the Stavengerfjord. I plan to keep it but would be interested in whether it has any monetary value.
