Pairpoint Silver Plated Tray

Description

Pairpoint SilverPlated serving tray.  Ornate carvings along edges and handles.  Tray center is etched with flowers, leaves, branches, and scrollwork.  Some scratching and wear on tray top and bottom. Pictures are of tray as purchased (i.e., without polishing) - there is minimal tarnish, no dents.

Due to the downsizing of

Due to the downsizing of households and inheritances, there has been a huge number of late 19th to mid 20th century silverplate items entering the antique market in recent years, the end result has been a drop in values for all but the very best pieces. Most trays of this type today sell for less than $150.00.
