2 plates with the Pirkenhammer hallmark on the backs. Both have Titanic and Austria around the hallmark, but no dates. We would like to find out any information available.

There is a lot of folklore about these plates regarding usage on the Titanic, but I've never seen any plates from the Titanic that didn't have the crest of the White Star line emblazoned on it. Here's a site for you http://titanic.marconigraph.com/mgy_china.html

I also have one of the plates with the pink roses -- bought it at an estate sale -- have tried to research but have not found any info to link them to the Titanic.
