PLEASE HELP - 1940s Bassett Bedroom Set

By Tabitha, 7 August, 2007
Description

I think the set is in fair to good condition.  The mirror and glass on the dressing table are the originals.  All the pieces to the set match and were purchased at the same time.  The veneer has a v-shape on all pieces.  The mirror on the dressing table has a bevelled edge on it.  We are just trying to figure out a general idea of what this is worth or just more info about it.  I understand these pieces are just vintage, not antiques, yet we would like some info on them.   All the pieces have wheels on them also.  I only have pictures of the headboard and footboards and the dressing table.  I don't have a picture of the chest of drawers, because it is still in her apartment, which my family will be cleaning out in a couple weeks.  I will include the two pictures I do have, the bed was already taken down when this picture was taken.  I just hope we can learn more of these pieces and a general idea of their worth.  If you need furth info, please don't hesitate to ask me... I can try to find out the answers.  Thank you very much for your time.Dressing table
