Description

This is a pottery jug with a verse or writing on each side. It looks like possibly Dutch words. One side translates to something like "small birdies made small nests" and the other side reads something along the lines of "why does the cock crow ???". I believe this might be slipware pottery. It measures approx. 12" tall by 8" wide. One of the lower handles has been repaired. I would like to know more about this piece.
