Qing dynasty handled with deer heads 12" 12" vase birds and flowers

By Christmas.Spirit, 5 December, 2014
Description

A hand painted scene of  two birds and a beautiful array of different color flowers outline in gold, enameled on both sides. Handled with two deer heads or rams heads gold covered. Qainlong period calligraphy markings on this globular, pear shaped body 12 1/4" hight, 30" diameter vase. The thickness of the vase is a 1/4".  The mouth of the vase is 4 3/4" and the base is has a 6" width or 19" diameter. The markings on the bottom of the vase consist of four calligraphy markings appear to be orange because it was place before firing. It has a single outline around these four markings and you read them top to bottom, right to left. The first marking, the top right, I found means Qian, The second marking, the one on the bottom right means Long. For the emperor Qianlong dating back to the Qing dynasty, 1736 through 1795. I do know that even though the imperial mark doesn't always date an object and would really appreciate finding out more about this piece. I have spent countless hours searching and have found nothing similar or have the four character seal mark like mine exactly, that is. Thank you very much for your time and if you need any further information please contact me.
