I would like to bring to your kind notice that i am a collector of art. I have got an English made clasp knife with decorated hilt. It's hilt is made like a rifle-stock showing valuable stones fixed on both sides. The cut marks on it's blade is showing that perhaps this knife was used in any great fight.
