Description
I dont have pics taken and uploaded yet....soon i promise. The bowl or fruit bowl is 4 by 8.5. It has a slightly scalloped edge with 16 distinctive ribs that carry to the base. There is a monogram on the outside (top) that appears to be of maybe 4 letters. On the bottom, the reed and barton trademark of the eagle and lion supporting an "R" shield, under that appears the words Sterling and under that the numbers 981. There is another partial mark approx 1" directly under the top marks but it is unreadable. I know little about the piece and cant find a similar bowl anywhere....please help.
