The table is very light but hard. I is completely hand carved because no 2 cuts ar the same.
The top is supported by 4 legs and 4 sides. Each are connected to create a single support of the top. The top of the legs are a type of serpent head.
The top shows a symmetrical and consistent pattern.
The art work appears to be that of a serpent. Notice the fin and scale patterns. There is a single finger size hole in each piece of the supporting sides and I'm not sure why.the legs are carved from top to bottom with what appears to be scales.
The lower portion has a small shelf with a carved pattern.
The carved pattern appears to be that of a flowering bud. Notice that there are 2 primary leaves with 5 gathered leaves on opposite sides of them.
