Description

Appears to be souvenir glass from the 1909 Minnesota State Fair. It looks to me to be etched writing. The writing says "T.V. Lichtstinn" and "Minnesota Stae Fair 1909". I'd be interested in knowing if this is signed by the painter or perhaps it's the name of the person who bought it? Also, is the ruby red a paint? It appears to be lightly scratched off a couple of places. I'd even be interested in a little history of this type of souvenir - was it common in the early 1900's?
