Description

Hi, my item is from what i have been told are salt cellars. i have looked all the  net i have not anything remotley like this set.

it is a set of 6, in a formed to fit each piece case.  the salt cellars are a round crystal bowl with a silver rim around the top with the small silver spoons.  the pepper shakers are of silver, they kind of shaped like a snow man with out the bottom ball  (only way i could think to describe them.. haha). i have tried to read the mark on the pepper shakers its just not a good clear markiing.

they are in a molded case, formed to fit each piece.  the case is square about 12x12 covered in a green silk ''ish'' or damask type fabric. the fabric on the top is quite worn , especially around the edges.  the case does not ''click''' when you close the lid.

on the inside, they are formed into a cicle. the 6 peppers are up right in the center circle. then the salt cellars are in the outer circle wth the spoons inbetween each one.  it is a velvet type fabic cover the molded form each piece sits in. that fabic is still in good condition.

i have spent so much time over a year trying to find anything remotely like this piece. i have had no luck.  ive seen salt and peppers in a type holder , but only on set.  this has sx.

cant think of much more to discribe it.

thank you very much for your time

cindy.
