Re: Sevres porcelain potpourri vase

We have the exact same vase passed down from my husband's grandmother (Texas).  It has the same mark but the "handpainted" line must have faded.  What was the appraisal?  Thanks!  Jen Chapman

Re: Sevres porcelain potpourri vase

Sorry to say it's a fake/reproduction. the sevre's mark is one of the most copied in the world of porcelain. No Sevres piece from 1750 would be marked in this manner.

Re: Sevres porcelain potpourri vase

Do reproductions have any value?  Where were they usually made and what time period?  Thank you.
