Shellac embossed leather Chess table

Tan embossed leather chess table shellaced. Rectangle shaped. 4 corner legs are curved on outside edges square on inside. 3 brass outlined rectangles on top. Outer two are smaller than center.  The center rectangle has a wooden lever to push up which pops up the center rectangle in turn it has a smooth leather chess game side in coral and cream leather. Also a storage area for game pieces to the one side. There are no markings or names on the piece It is in very good condition.  But I cannot find any history on the piece.  I bought it with my condo the owner stated she paid over $10,000 for the piece.  I would like to sell it. it is 43" long and 26 inches wide.

With it were 2 chairs in the same pink fabric with creme animal heads on arms for the chairs.
