Silver toned trinket box

By cfsorensen, 16 November, 2023
Description

Silver toned trinket box measures 4 3/4 inches in length, 3 1/2 inches in depth, and 2 inches tall (including feet). The box contains 3 compartments, one is for a ring, the other 2 are open. There is red felt like material on the inside. The box is decorated with small flowers and has hinges for it's opening mechanism. The lid has a small lip all around it. It is non magnetic, on the bottom of the box there is the initial "M" in a diamond shape. There are NO other marketing on the box. I have cleaned it with Tarnex cleaner, took off the dirt and shined it a little but not much. The box was given to me by my mother, it was my father's mothers trinket box. She died in 1966 and was born in 1901 in Berwick, Columbia County, PA. This is where she lived her entire life as well. Her father was the town merchant. The only thing that I have been able to find out is
