Hi,
My name is Kim and I found two marionette puppets while cleaning my grandfathers attic. One male and one female. My grandmother was able to tell me he had them for many years and he bought them oversees while he was in the military.
Both are made of wood. They appear to be hand painted on their faces. Both of them have moveable mouths. The male is anatomicaly correct with a penis and a hole for an anus. The females clothes are sewn shut so I am not sure if she is anatomically correct. I could not find any markings on them anywhere. There was a piece of the females clothes that had maybe foreing words on it - nothing in english i could make out.
I would love to know exactly how old they are and if they have a value.
Thanks,
Kim
