I am interested as I have same painting inherited from my parents and I would be interested in selling mine if I get an appraisal.

Joan

As has been covered many times here on the forum, paintings really require a physcial examination to determine their authenticity, the medium used, construction details etc... Most works by well known artists have been copied and reproduce in a wide variety of forms trhat resmble original oils, but often are not.

Nobody can evaluate a painting without physically examining it, as nearly all of these with this artist's signature are reproductions. here is a link for you about the artist:

Lovejoy,

I understand your comment. I know mine is not original painting but is quite old as my parents had it before I inherited it. It must be over 60 years old.  Is there a range from low to high? I think that is what we are all looking for.

Hello

I can shed a little light on this painting.  These were mass-produced in the early 1960's.  My Mother purchased this same painting for $30 in 1965 from Grand Way Department store in Plattsburgh, NY.  I love it - and, am happy that I stumbled on it once, again.  It hung in our Parent's living room for about 30 years before being discarded.
