Got this item in a storage we bid on. There were a lot of collectables in the unit. This item was really well protected. I have been unable to learn anything about it. Any help greatly appreciated.
This a reproduction of Chinese stands made during the late 19th Century, the originals were made of a very dark wood called "Hongmu" and hand carved. This one is machine carved.
