I have seen similar pieces flaked from black obsidian sell from $50 to over $200. To obtain maximum value a COA, certificate of authenticity, can ensure top dollar. Unfortunately I have a friend who can "work" a rock as good as any Native American did and it's hard to distinguish between 2 weeks old and 1200/1500 years old without a COA. Good luck

thank you, for your comment, where around salt lake city could i get this COA? i am certain it is athentic as i dug it out of the ground myself.  in an area where there where alot of this arrowheads and stuff found.   please inform me as too where i mighrt get theis certificate. thanks

I will see if I can locate a reputable Authenticator close to you. Not everyone who offers a COA has the reputation to make it worth the paper it is written on. Facebook has a group called Artifact Addictions ( closed group) that has hundreds of more knowledgeable people than myself. I'm sure there are members in your area. You can try that and I'll try to find someone reguardless.
