Toots The Walking Monkey

By LadyDi56, 16 March, 2016
Description

My deceased Mother was the owner of this unusual pull toy.  The toy does come with the original box and you will see it says "Toots the Walking Monkey" - A Woodpress toy, The Woodpress Toy Corp, New York City. It is in fairly good condition.

It might have a date on the box but these are the only current photo's I have.  I believe it may say the 50's but not certain.

As far as I remember (my brother currently has this toy) the toy does walk when you pull the string.

We have tried, unsuccessfully to find a toy like it in order to put a value to it.

Hoping that someone out there can give us an idea and possibly any other tidbits they might know about this unusual toy.
