Two 1976/77 Williams electromechanical pinball machines

By earlofego, 2 February, 2015
Description

Greetings

I have two older EM pinball machines made by Williams in 1976 or 1977. One is an Aztec 4-player game and the other is a Wild Card 1-player. Both machines are in nice cosmetic shape with very little wear on the playfields. The backglasses are a 9/10 with very little flaking (which is common on machines from this era). Haven't been able to find much info on either game; designer(s) for both is unknown. However, a little research reveals that several engineers by the name of Steve Kordek, Chris Otis, Al Gregg and Harry Williams were working at the Williams factory at the time. I don't know if these two games were joint efforts or not but it seems that the Aztec was a successful game with a large production run but the Wild Card sold less than 1,000. Thanks for any help

Garry
