Description

This piano is an antique upright, possibly made in London, England. I have found very little information on this piece online and was advised that reason it was most likey that the records are of an age that they have not been digitized yet.

It has 2 pedals and may be Grade III as it has wheels on carved front legs and no molding beneath

I cannot find any front plate of iron pieces - it seems to be made entirely of wood - stamped into top of frame near strings and tuning pins is: CVENABLES LONDON 1248 9901

9901 stamped into back of lid

F4210 stamped into top of right side piece

There is also some hand writing in pencil on the inside of the right side piece - a name and address in London

Sadly, this piece was stored in a barn and sustained some water damage to the burl finish, although the main components and pieces seem to be intact. It definitely needs to be refinished, restrung, and tuned, and is currently unplayable.
