Description I've had this bowl that is stamped on the bottom "Victopia Ironstone" for many years now. I have looked online but can't find any bowls that look like this bowl nor one similar. I'm wanting to sell the bowl asap due to my medical issues but I don't know what to price it since I can't find anything about it. The bowl is 12 1/2 inches round. If anyone can help with giving me knowledge about the bowl along with what to price it at I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much for taking the time to help me!! You may also contact me by email [email protected] or by phone 563-349-9984. Thanks again!

Sorry to say, but based on the marking this piece is a 1980's reproduction of Victorian style Staffordshire pottery. Pieces like this have very modest values, less than $50.00.

How can you tell? Even though it's marked with the Victopia Ironstone & the stamp is the same stamp I've seen on other victopia ironstone? I've seen stamps with the Staffordshire symbol & their different stamps than the one that's on my bowl. What has me so thrown off on this bowl is all the gold outlining.

The marking is meant to resemble the British coat of arms, which was used by a number of Staffordshire potteries during the eraly to mid 19th century, but the marking on this one is a well documented fake.
