Description

This hutch belonged to my dad's Aunt probably 45 years ago; not sure how long she had it.  It is 72"h. x 35" w. x 14" deep, stands on 4 fluted legs, has one drawer and glass doors enclosing a space with 2 shelves (3 levels).  The finish is dark brown and it has a decorative victorian (?) pediment.  The drawer is dovetailed.

The last photos shows the construction of the underside of the cabinet.

Your hutch actually dates from the late 1920's through mid 1930's. It's in the Colonial Revival style that was very popular during that period. At auction comparable cabinets now sell for under $200.00
