Description
Vintage antique mirror - beautiful engraved detail in each corner and 4 metal hardware screws showing signs of quality. Genuine American Beauty mirror by Louis Bierfeld Company Chicago, IL est 1880. Mirror is of Excellent condition, no chips or cracks anywhere. 32" X 40" - tag in back is 1/2 missing and mirror is very heavy. Any idea on what it's worth? It was owned by my Great Aunt.

Actually the cut glass mirrors like this one tend to date from the 1920's to 30's. They were made to compliment dressers and vanities. The were priduced by a number of makers, and in great numbers, so they are not considered rare or valuable. At auction comparable mirrors often sell for under $100.00.
