Vintage Hope chest

Its a Lane ceder hope chest. i know nothing about this hope chest , it was given  to me to hold on to too. they never returned to pick it up.  I have held on to it and  I have had  it for 20 years or more i lost count . here here are the  markings  i have found on the chest.
