Description

I have recently inherited a vintage porcelian set and I was wondering if someone could help me by giving me any information about it... The mark on the back says "Made In Germany 5" in red ink. There is no design or shape around the mark it simply just says the words "Made In Germany" and the number 5 is underneath it. I have done the light test on the porcelain and the light shines through it strongly I can see the shadow of my fingers as I wave them behind it. The set seems to be a tea set of white porcelain with yellow, blue and orange flowers hand painted on it with gold trim. The Jug is tall and slim, the cups and plates are very petite. I believe this tea set belonged to a great grandmother which should date it back to around the late 1800's. The set is in excellent condition. I have tried to search for any information about it but have been unable to find anything.   I would love if someone could help me, thank you.
