I dont have much info on this item, I know its a visiting/calling card & it's been engraved on the front with the number 81 on the bottom of the engraving..... I'm assuming it means 1881 since I know nothing like this has ever been purchased by us. I know its a family item so the initials must represent a relative more than likely living in England since this is where our family heritage began. the initials at the top are FLT and each letter is in it's own little colored box. the F is surrounded by white, the L is surrounded by blue & the T is in red. below then is the inscripted initials N & either an F or J then the numbers 81. the edges of this item also have swirly etching around the side & the back of the case has little pinstripe markings. thanks for your time
