By Meridithellen, 25 January, 2013
Description

I have a full set of Vogue Ceramic Industries, Governors Mansion~Arlington design teacups and saucers, 10 each.
They are white ceramic with the Dogwood flower motif, and gold accents. They appear to never have been used. There are no marks from stirring or stains. The gold around the lip, foot and bottom of each cup and on the handels is not chipped or worn. The gold on the lip of the plates is intact as well as the gold in the middle where the cup sits.
Cups are footed and measure 2 1/4 " high and 4" wide. The saucers measure 5 3/4" wide.

History
I found these in 1996 when I was a hotel housekeeper. The customers left them with a note to discard them. I found them again while moving my mom.
I was able find a little history on the company online. I know the company came to be with this name in 1949. As for the Arlington-Dogwood pattern, I was unable to find anything further as to the time manufactured. What I did find on the pieces in this set, I do have the full set of cup and saucers.
