Long Description
Weidlich Silver Co. sterling bread tray #8196. It has a leaf and flower design around the edge. It is 12" x 7" and about 1/2" deep at the middle then where the ends slope upwards it's about 1 1/8". It weighs 165 grams.
There are 3-4 minor dings in the surface that I didn't see until I looked at it up close. What condition would this be called? Is this vintage or antique, and what would be the value? Should it be polished or left as is?
I am interested in selling this, but want to gather information first.
Thank you.
History
This was inherited from my mother, who inherited it from her sister. She may have gotten it from my grandparents, but that is just a guess. Probably originally purchased in Iowa.

I'd call the condition fair. A good jeweler can repair the dents to like new. Vintage in age. Yes! Polish it! Nothing is prettier than gleaming sterling. Value is around $300.00 USD at retail if repaired (around $150.00 USD at retail as is). Don't sell it, use it. So lovely!

Thank you! I do love the design and will look into having it repaired.
