The White Furniture Company Antique 5-Drawer Dresser

Description

Hello, I received this chest/dresser from my 85-year old neighbor. She told me that the piece was given to her by her mom (circa late 1800's). I've attached 6 pictures, there are two seals located inside the second top drawer that say "The White Furniture Company" and "Peck & Hill Furniture Co." I am not sure which is considered the distributor/wholesaler. Additionally, on the backside of the dresser there is a stamped "490." The dresser is made from mahogany, and the front side has an inlaid wood design.

My neighbor is moving into an assisted living facility later this summer and was going to leave this piece behind because she has to downsize her belongings and it looks too beautiful and ornate to throw away so I took it.

The only other history I'm aware of is that my neighbor's mom owned this dresser back on her farm in Orchard Place (now known as O'Hare International Airport) before the government bought her land to build the airport in the 1940's.

Can someone please give me an idea how much this dresser or chest would be worth?
