Description

20 drawer wilmarth apothecary chest. We found it in the garage of a house we just bought. It seems to be in decent shape no large nicks or dings. The front is painted a blue/grey. Inside the drawers there are slots for dividers but not many deviders. Handles are original with writing still on them from a Dr office. I belive it is pine and a plywood top. I searched and searced the internet for info on it. Did not find much except that this particular company was in Grand Rapids Mich. It is from the late 1800s early 1900s. The company specialized in furniture for Dr offices and drug stores. I could not find one like this anywhere. I did though find other pieces made by the company.
