Wood Table with Claw Feet

By tdlovesjd, 7 May, 2015
Description

Wood table measures 28 1/2" tall.  The top is 22 1/2" X 22 1/2".  The width at the bottom of the table measured from the outside of one leg to the outside of another leg on the same side is 23 1/2".  The measurement for the bottom is the same on all 4 sides.  So the table top is slightly smaller than the width of the legs at the bottom.

The feet of the table are made of cast iron in the shape of a claw.  Each claw is holding a glass ball.  The feet are attached to the bottom of each leg wth 1 flat head screw.  The screw goes through a hole in the cast iron foot and into the wood leg.

I am not sure what kind of wood the table is made from, but as you can see in the pictures the wood has stripes of a lighter color throughout.

Everything else should be easy to see in the pictures as far as shapes, etc.  We could not find any makers marks or tags.

History
The table is in excellent condition. It is very solid and sturdy. There is a very slight evidence of a water ring on the top. This can be seen in the pictures.
