Re: WWI french military field glasses binoculars

These date back to the early years of the 20th Century and were reportedly used by the French Military in World War One. They do survive in large numbers though, so what you paid is about top dollar, I've seen them go at auction for around $50.00.

Re: WWI french military field glasses binoculars

Civil War Era Binoculars, By LeMaire of Paris, France, Fine.
6” x 5.5” binoculars used during the Civil War. LeMaire of Paris, France was one of the major world suppliers of binoculars and these were popular with officers on both sides of the war. The binoculars are marked ""LeMaire Fabt Paris"" on each eyepiece with the small bee logo.

Your's looks like it's in really good shape.. If you had a name on the case of a famous person would be better.Top is missing on case?.

(looks to be a jet plane ) It's a Bee...Price is all over the place.. Good Luck.
