I've never heard the term "reconstructed" related to oil paintings, so i doubt it's original. Oil paintings really need physical appraisals by Specialists and are not suited to the online appraisal format.
I have a small Renoir oil painting with his signature at the corner. but the back of frame has a tag that has order number and says something about reconstructed. does it mean the painting is real and just has been reconsstructed?
