Re: Asian Artist White Horses running in water oil painting...
Comment by Marvelmom
I had not even thought of that with the signature! Thanks for your ideas on that. I have seen some east Asian writing/symbols that may be similar to the first part so I just always assumed it was in another language. I will see if I can come up with anything going on what you suggested.

Thank you for this! You have me on the right track now and from looking I an certain this is the Artist and that the French scenery was in the 50's. I appreciate your help!

There’s a French painter named Claude Schurr and I think that’s what you have. This link shows some https://www.invaluable.com/artist/schurr-claude-16vr0tynjn/sold-at-aucti... The styles vary but there are some similar to yours. From what I’ve seen most look kind of abstract-ish landscape but some are closer to the one you have https://www.mutualart.com/Artwork/LE-RAMEUR/1CD1A44F14948C55

I’m not finding anything but wondered if the signature might say Lola Roz or Lola Koz instead of being Asian. The local museum might be your best source for help on this.

One 1980's Jacobean Revival Style Chess Table
Sorry to say, but this is a very modern piece of a type offered by companies such as Bombay, Theodore Alexander and the Franklin Mint. It looks older than what it is because is it designed to resemble English antique examples. Very few of these predate the 1980's, the examples comparable to yours in need of some restoration often sell for under $250.00.
Re: Antique Floor Lamp
Comment by Lovejoy
It would have been relatively new when your Grandmother purchased it, these were made from the 1970's onward through the 1980's. As a decorator lamp we'd retail one for about $175.00, but they often appear at yard sales for about $50.00.
Re: Liberty Bell 1776 Rocking Chair
Comment by Lovejoy
These are reproductions dating from the last quarter of the 20th century, most date from the late 1970's on the run up to the American Bicentennial in 1976. They were made in huge numbers and are of very limited value, often selling for about $75.00 at auction if in good shape.
Re: Antique wooden blanket box
Comment by Lovejoy
It dates from the 1970's to early 80's when this clunky oversized look in antique styles was popular...It was made in bedroom sets of Gothic and American Colonial styles, often including a waterbed Probably 150.00 on a good day at auction.
Re: Hand painted plate

The demand for Prewar German China has been in decline since the early 1990's as has the demand for most late 19th to early 20th Century European china. Currently comparable pieces often sell for under $20.00.

Yes, they are a lot alike but the Theodore looks much fancier than mine in some ways but im not sure. Thank you for sharing this as it did give me some style info like that the style is called a William and Mary Spiral I think so this is a good place for me to start. I see this company began production in the 90s. The girl believed it to be at least 80 years old but I dont know if she is correct or not on the age. Thank you again for all your help! I added a few more pics.

Your’s is similar to a Theodore Alexander Spiral Turned Games Table like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/Theodore-Alexander-5200-002BN-Spiral-Turned-Gam...https://www.theodorealexander.com/product-detail/5200-002BN
To my eyes those look a lot richer/finer but I’m no expert. My guess is yours is based on that style. Since I’m not an expert I won’t advise on restoring or refinishing. Hopefully @Lovejoy will see your post and give you a better idea of what you have.
I checked the sold items on eBay and found one of the Theodore Alexander ones that sold. It was best offer so below the price shown https://www.ebay.com/itm/32417EC-THEODORE-ALEXANDER-Reversible-Top-Chess... Some really good pics there.
