The bed is 3/4 size and is 7ft long. Made for 13 slats. High headboard. Has side rails. All orginial. Dresser is 7 ft tall, has marble inserts. 4 ft wide. Also have one drawer matching writing table that has had one hardware replaced on the drawer. Also has chair. Evrything appears to be in orginial condition except for the one piece of hardware on the writing table. I have enclosed a picture of the headboard, and 2 pictures of the dresser, one of the mirrior top and one of the bottom. I have no idea what this set is called, what the wood is, how old it is and the value.
Has a stamp that says "Middletown Plate Co. Quadruple Plate" then it says "1899 Hard White Metal B.C." There is some kind of letter engraving on the handle, looks to be made by the manufacturer. I'm wanting to know the estimated value of this piece, if it is worth more than the dollar I paid for it.
Hour & Half-hour striking on gong.
Wood case painted to look like tortoiseshell, embellished with bronze castings.
Has Original plinth to match.

Hi!
I searched the net and found now "Wachtersbach" is famous WMF. (Please correct me if I am wrong.) I saw some tea sets and sugar pots on eBay or other auction sites, but I have never seen anything like this.
I wonder how much it's worth and this set is really from 1856. It looks like brand new (except the faucet). I greatly appreciate any help!
