Coffee table is 20x60x16 inches, end tables are each 22x22x22.
Long Description
Asian coffee table with end tables. Each table face has hand-carved relief depicting pastoral scene. I believe the relief is carved in teak, and possibly the whole table is teak.
I purchased this at an estate sale, and I'd love to know more about it. Anything would be helpful. Thanks!

Tables like are generally…
Tables like are generally made in China and South East Asia, the wood types vary by country, but most like this are Chinese elm, teak or a sub species of Mahogany. Tables like this were made for the Export market beginning at the turn of the 19th Century, in darker asian hardwoods but the lighter color examples like this one are very modern and still in production. Determining exact origins is often a case of documentation, without a label it's impossible to detemine a maker .
Most tables like this set post date 1950 and similar examples are still in production. Values for them depend a great deal on the quality of the carving, but values for them currently tend to be modest. Sets at auction often sell for under $250.00
