Japanese Geisha night light?

By mrskeefe86, 31 July, 2012
Description

This night light lamp is wooden on the top, bottom and sides. It is very good condition and still works when plugged in. The geisha is holding what appears to be a scroll of some sort. The only markings I can find on it says "japan 88". I know that it is at least 25 years old. It was my mother's when I was a small child.
