Jacobi Reproof "Rose Window Notre Dame"

By rtremallo, 4 June, 2013
Description

A "Jacobi Reproof" titled "Rose Window Notre Dame", "after a Signed Proof Etching by Hedley Fitton R.E."  The piece is signed "Jacobi" and Hadley Fitton on the front.  On the back on a typeset description of the Cathedral of Notre Dame secured to the paper of the frame there is the following handwritten items (without quotations):  "2636", "8/10", "Reproof" and then the signature "Jacobi" again.

It is framed, and measures 17-3/8 inches tall and 12-3/4 inches wide (includes frame).  The image within the frame measures 11-1/2 inches tall, and 7-1/4 inches wide.

I have researched this and know the etching was done in 1909, therefore I assume this is the 8th image out of 10 images of reproof.

What is the value of this piece?

Re: Jacobi Reproof "Rose Window Notre Dame"

I have a Jacobi reproof of this as well, but the paper on the back of the frame is torn away. Do you know how much this etching is worth?
