Chinese Chop/Stamp

By nickelwan, 14 November, 2013
Description

I have a Dali era, Tang dynasty (767) Dynasty Chinese Seal Stamp I can’t find any one who can read this Seal Stamp, and I hope you will be this person. I took this Dali era, Tang dynasty (767) Dynasty Chinese Seal to the Chinese Embassy in Washington DC and they informed that they need to send it to China since their educational attaché in the embassy could not read the Chinese script, they say it is very old and it could be even before Dali era, Tang dynasty (767). Can you help me find someone that can read and evaluate this Seal Stamp historically?

The Chinese offiicials probably don't know anything about HeTian jade. It's looks to me more like a soap stone.
