My husband said he brought this home from England, but it looks American to me. We've had it about 40 years, so I don't really know how old it is.

It does not fold.

Stands like this were generic items made on both sides of the Atlantic ocean during the second quarter of the 20th Century, most dating to the mid 1920's to the early 1930's.In terms of value, most comparable pieces would sell for less than $75.00 at auction
