Table w/ dolphin feet and carved faces

We recently bought a dining table from an antique vendor with dolphin feet and carved faces on the skirt. The vendor claimed the table was at least 100 years old, and oak, but we bought it because it fits in with our other furniture and has a leaf to fit people for entertaining. We're interested in knowing if it is actually antique or just a great table that fits our needs :)
