Description

This etching is signed in the plate and also signed in pencil by the artist.  Features a field, fence, house, and barn in lower margin with copywrited informationin the upper right margin. The paper measures 21" wide x 12". Edward Loyal Field artist.  this print is known as Remarque Proofs, the first to be printed from the plate.  A seperate, miniature etching within the lower margin would signify this.  The handful of Remarques which were published would also include the artist signature in pencil which this picture has.
