Painting of a Woman

By antique7777777, 25 October, 2008
Description

<>Some people said it was a painting of Mrs. Burr, a woman who owned a historical house in Monroe, CT where they had a school. Not sure though

<> I cannot see any signature. The frame is ornate and beautiful but the top left corner has pieces broken off and most of the bottom has pieces broken so it is shorter on bottom. The painting itself appears very good. Aged but it is behind a thick glass.
