old four poster bed

I was told the wood is maple. The headboard has a design that resembles a cross. I was told that the wood is really old and different kinds of wood. It has bolts that hold the bed together. It also has brass feet that the bed sits on. They look like a round ball./ The canopy is covered when you look up when laying on the bed. The headboard is at least 5 feet high.
