Ceramic Statue and Candy dish?

Description My great grandmother was one of the very first female corporate executives in the Macy's corporation. She was a collector of a number of antiques including silver sets, furniture etc. However, none of the family is sure of what this piece is and where it came from. A good deal of her other items have been valuable and we just are trying to figure out what we have.
