Paper Mache Statue Sculpture African Mother and Child Wire Basket

By mimi1017, 22 January, 2011
Description

This statue is made from paper mache and has a shiny type of lacquer on it. It is a mother and a child. The mother is holding a banana. There is a basket on the woman's head made of wire. The statue including the wire is 29" in height. The statue itself is 25" high. There are no markings on it, but there is a small piece of a sticker price tag on it, but it does not say anything. There is also a string hanging from it, it looks as if a tag was attached to it at one time. It is a very interesting piece of art.
